Excerpt from 1922 Eromdiks, p.113: "On Monday, November fourteenth, the body of scientists engaged in experimenting with the Endowment Fund awoke to find that a new phenomenon was apparent—Endowment Week was upon them. Monday morning they were found anxiously inspecting strange blotches which had appeared on Skidmore walls; some shook their heads and feared a return of War Fever and Liberty Loan epidemics. However, the posters proved harmless, though startling to the uninitiated."
