From the back of the card: "This pool, 60 feet by 25 feet, is located in the New Gymnasium. It bears the name of Dr. George D. Cochran of Saratoga Springs and New York City who contributed generously toward its construction. A program of aquatic sports sponsored by the Department of Health and Physical Education receives the enthusiastic support of the students."
