Local Note
Agnes (“Buddie”) Steele Ritchie, Class of 1929, was a Home Economics major from West Medford, Massachusetts. Active in Student Government, she was Class Treasurer her sophomore year, Treasurer Student Government her junior year, and Class President her senior year, to name just a few of her academic endeavors. Her yearbook entry reads: “Gingerbread and russet apples – Energy and independence. A generous, capable leader, Doing her job well, And still having time For West Point.”
