Jude was offered an opportunity as an underwriting analyst at State Farm Insurance HQ in Bloomington, IL, in 2011. She is now serving as business sponsor for an auto existing-customer project. The family loves the area, enjoying Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis, which are each only a two-hour drive. Speaking of two-hour drives, Jude's move to Illinois put her just that close to Jody Witkop Shepson, UWW '02, a resident of West Lafayette, IN. This new location allows them to see each other more often, instead of just keeping in touch by e-mail and phone. Jude has taken up running and has participated in a four-miler and two 5K races. She finds herself a co-leader for Ellie's Girl Scout troop and very often at the soccer Jield or patiently waiting at swim lessons. The family took a Disney cruise to celebrate Jude and Bill's 10th wedding anniversary in October. Tim Hitchens moved to Philadelphia, PA, in 2003. After two years working with Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church's youth group, he enrolled at Temple University to pursue his MSW. In 2006 he began working in child protective services for Philadelphia's department of human services, by 2008 he was promoted to social work supervisor in ongoing services, and in 2012 he became program supervisor in policy and planning.
