Jennifer has left her job as a high-school choir director to be a full-time mom and observes, “Nothing has ever been more challenging or more rewarding.” Sheri Dexler Tanner ’93 and husband Chris welcomed son Jacob in May; they live in Portland, CT. Michael Judd graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison after four years of residency in ob-gyn. He signed on with a group of ob-gyns in Easton, MD, and began his practice there in August. Mike’s freshman-year roommate, Lans Taylor, earned a Ph.D. in geology from Stanford and works for an oil company in Houston, TX. He is married and has a two-year-old daughter. Lilly Glass Akoto holds a CSWA certificate and works full-time as a case manager for chronic mentally ill adults. She says her job is exceptionally rewarding. Lilly and husband Brando have two children: Seyram, 8, and Mawuto, 2. Stacey Murr-Pistorova and husband Tomas announce the birth of Emily in January; she joins son Benjamin, 4. They all live in Teplice, Czech Republic, where Stacey is self-employed as a translator and is the editor of an international newsletter. She also sells handcrafted items in a local store. The family traveled to the U.S. in June. Anna Marie “Ree” Francello-Rothkopf and husband Avi welcomed baby Emma last December. Amy Schoenberg and Barry Segel live together in Watertown, MA. Marie Boccuzzi is back as senior consultant at Right Management Consultants after taking four months off to participate in an international management exchange program in Sydney, Australia. A graduate of NYU’s Stern School of Business, Marie is based in Stamford, CT, but travels extensively. Jillyan French was nominated to the review committee for international graduate program at the Ecole de Ponts et Chaussees in Paris, France, where she earned a master’s in international business in 1990; she will assist in strategic planning for the M.B.A, program. Jillyan, a senior recruiter for Accenture, has been living and working in Paris since 1996. Alex Forsyth has settled down after traveling throughout Africa and Europe for the last couple of years. Last year, he sailed from the U.K. to the Canary Islands through Hurricane Felix, which was “terrifying and fun at the same time.” He works for Easynet in London, but plans to hit the road again in a year or two with girlfriend Chloe.
