Local Note
Jean Poskanzer Rudnick, class of 1944, was described by President emeritus David Porter as “the world’s greatest expert on Skidmore College.” She served on the Board of Trustees from 1972-1994, as Annual Funds chair for three terms, 50th Reunion chair for her class, and president of the Boston Almuni Club. She also worked tirelessly on the Wide Horizon Campaign in the 1980’s. Former Board Chair Sue Corbet Thomas ’62 said, “I remember hearing her say, ‘Never a day goes by that I don’t do something for Skidmore.’ It was so true.”
