Helen Hill Crane graduated from Skidmore in 1920. She was a member of only the second class at Skidmore to get a 4 year degree, but the option only became available when her class was already graduating with the two year degree. The students were given the opportunity to apply for two more years so they could get a four year degree, which a number of them did. Helen’s original degree was in Physical Education.
