Description
An artwork by Lynne Avadenka consisting of twelve loose sheets printed on one side only, in a fall-down-back case. Includes the biblical Lamentations in Hebrew and English translation. "This edition of Lamentations was created with woodcuts, photopolymer plate printing and stencils, and letterpress printed with Centaur and Koren types on Yamada Hanga cream paper"--Colophon. Issued unbound; housed in a black silk-covered oblong clamshell box (33 x 75 cm.), with a woodblock inset on top. Limited edition of 8 copies.
