A short history of the meaning and importance of trees in world culture is woven in with graphics. Edition of six unique variants. Began from extra pages from "In the Garden." Created using paste painting, stencils, and many layers of handwriting as text and image. Pages sewn on linen cords with green linen thread. Title from p. [23]. Accompanied by printed slip (38 x 14 cm) with caption: Libretto. Monumentum arbusti (Book of trees).
