Consists of reproductions of the title page and engravings from Michael Maier's Atalanta fugiens, 1618, mounted on both sides of square boards, joined together with hinges into a circular continuous strip (Möbius strip), laid loose in box. Title from inside lid of box, and from laid-in colophon ([7] p.). Colophon includes directions for folding the book for placement in the box. Twenty-one numbered copies and two artists' proofs, signed by Daniel E. Kelm, Erin Clay Nelson, Sammy Lee, Anthony J. Fiandaca, Amy Borczo, and Kylin Lee. Originally published by Kelm in an edition of 5 copies in 1990 (distributed by Granary Books).
