Description
An alphabet book of sexist language about women. Book consists of black cloth-covered boards with attached accordion-folded continuous length of translucent Japanese mulberry paper folded in half lengthwise and sewn at intervals to create pockets for 15 handset, letterpress printed cards. Images on the mulberry paper are two-color silk-screened prints. The cards are positioned so that the top line of text of each card is visible above the pocket. Inset into the front cover is a slightly domed plastic devise with 12 circles that magnify and distort words on the paper lining beneath. Issued in a red cloth-covered slipcase with the alphabet words printed crossword-style on the cloth. Special magnifying glass attached to front cover. Issued in slipcase. Edition limited to 120 copies, signed and numbered by the artist.
