Description
The book is in the form of a photography album with the name of a particular torture used as the title for the accompanying photograph of a woman in various poses inserted in a page pocket. "Femmes fatales was produced by Maureen Cummins in the summer of 2001, with typographic assistance from Kathy McMillan ... The list of names of torture and execution devices was compiled over a period of several years, as were the vintage photographs used to illustrate the book."--Colophon.
